The client
Virginia Urology has served patients in Reston, Virginia
for over twelve years. The head physician is the former
Chief of Urology at Reston Hospital Center. The practice
provides expertise in a wide range of health issues, from
prostate screening to female incontinence.
The challenge
Virginia Urology's vision for their website included becoming
a valuable online resource for users seeking information
regarding urological disorders and illnesses, as well
as preventative measures, treatment options, and new technologies
in the field. For the convenience of their patients, a
primary goal for Virginia Urology was to make it easy
as easy as possible for customers to find information
on the practice, such as contact information, instructions
for making appointments, and hospital affiliations.
The II@W solution
To achieve these goals most effectively, Internet Ideas
@Work provided an organizational infrastructure that was
easy for clients to navigate. A series of rollover graphics
create menus that allow users to find the information
they are looking for quickly and easily. We also updated
graphics throughout the site with a "family-friendly"
theme. For Virginia Urology, our work resulted in:
- A convenient and comprehensive source of information
for patients
- Reliable service and effective management of the
site
- Enhanced position as experts in the field of urology
Internet Ideas @Work employed technologies such as Java
Script and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to create the
menus and structure and also completed the project with
multimedia tools such as Adobe Photoshop and our own in-house
digital photography services.
