The client
Bacon & Thomas, PLLC is a Northern Virginia-based
law firm specializing in intellectual property. Their
practice involves patent, trademark, and copyright causes
from around the world.
The challenge
Bacon & Thomas asked II@W to build a website introducing
their firm and incorporating multimedia elements that
would highlight their areas of expertise and capitalize
on the convenience of their location to Washington, D.C.,
and U.S. Patent and Trademark office.
The solution
II@W created a customized website with an emphasis on
education and ease of use. Intuitive navigation guides
potential clients to relevant government links, historical
information about the firm, and downloadable forms. Thanks
to II@W's innovation, these forms will soon be available
in multiple languages to serve Bacon & Thomas' international
clients. Our solution served to:
- Establish the firm's online presence
- Educate visitors about the firm's expertise
- Provide a resource for information on intellectual
property law
- Supply clients with easy access to forms and documents
What sets the Bacon & Thomas site apart is the splash
screen's eye-catching animation. This 3-D movie, created
in Flash, illustrates the global reach of Bacon &
Thomas' services in a dynamic and informative manner.
II@W also supplied digital photography for much of the
site, including the Biography pages. In addition to the
web design technology employed on the site, we also helped
them develop much of the content through our marketing
communications services. II@W continues to serve Bacon
& Thomas by hosting its website on our servers.
